In the territory of the Narva city port there is a water base of the Young Seamen's Club.
The Narva Young Seamen's Club is one of the hobby schools of the city of Narva. Founded in 1957, currently the club is attended by about 290 cadets in five main areas:
The cadets are taught by 14 skilled teachers who are the engine and vanguard of young seafarers.
The main idea of the club is the popularization of maritime culture among young people, which enables youths to find a way to self-expression, satisfaction of their interests and needs.
The club also provides a high level of additional education, which helps young people to choose their profession in the future.
The water base of the Young Seamen's Club in the territory of the Narva city port is located at Jõe 3, there is also a water base of the club and in the territory of the port of Kulgu (Kulgu 10).
The club stores its boats at the water base Jõe 3 in the inter-navigational period, and during the summer navigation, from April to October, there are training classes here. You can see the cadets of the club, who are rowing on YAL-6 boats, sailing, and yachting.

At the water base of Kulgu 10, young yachtsmen under the guidance of our experienced teachers are trained.In spring and autumn yacht regattas in the "Optimist" class are held at the water base of Kulgu 10.
